24/25 Open Board Positions

Executive Vice President

Works as the primary aide to the president, helps lead a PTA towards specific goals, performs president's duties in his/her absence. 

VP Activities

Plan, organize, coordinate and implement programs for the school year, develops annual program calendar, oversees and delegates volunteer recruitment for implementing and running program. 

Specific Valley View activities: Fall Festival, Kids Against Hunger (Chairpersons secured), Teacher Appreciation Week, Multi-Cultural Fair (Chairperson secured, Co-Chair Needed), Dinner with a Scientist (Chairperson secured), STEAM Fair Family Night (Chairpersons secured).

VP Fundraising

Works with a committee, appointed by the president, to plan and organize fundraising activities, focuses on raising the amount of funds needed to meet the unit's budget, presents reports on proposed fundraising activities at board and association meetings for approval. 

Specific events to Valley View are: Fun Run, PNO/Auction (Chairpersons secured), Restaurant Fundraising (Chairperson secured), Book Fair & Spanish Book Fair (Chairperson secured),  and Spirit Wear (Chairperson secured).
