Reflections Submissions Due, 10/8/2014

Submissions for the PTA Reflections Art Contest are due today Wed, Oct 8th and can be dropped off in the library before and after school. The arts allow children to unleash their creative talents, to be inspired, express themselves imaginatively in their artwork, and tap into critical thinking skills. The PTA Reflections Art contest is another way we can encourage the arts in school.

To submit a project, students should:

• • Read the contest rules for each submission as follows:

• General Rules

• Dance Choreography

• Film Production

• Literature

• Music Composition

• Photography

• Visual Arts

  • Rules can be found in Spanish by clicking HERE (More Information Tab on right side)

  • Complete the submission card (English/Spanish)

  • Bring his/her completed work and the submission card to the VV Library on Wed, Oct 8th between 7:45am-9am and 2:00pm and 3pm to turn in by the deadline.

Mark Your Calendar – Student Reception

A reception for all participants and their families will be held on Wed, Oct 15th from 6-7pm in the Valley View Library to recognize the student’s work and announce those winners who will advance to the next level of competition.
