Dinner with a Scientist

SAVE THE DATE: Tuesday, March 6, 2024

 Valley View Library

5:15pm-7:30pm

Is your 3rd-5th grade child interested in science? Does your child love to conduct scientific experiments? Here is their opportunity to have dinner with a real scientist and perhaps spark their interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) careers.

In the past, our scientists have included engineers, doctors, geologists, airline pilots, entomologists, and scientists from Clorox, Sandia, LLNL and NASA. We hope that this evening will give your child an opportunity to learn about the many different careers in science.

We will be ordering dinner and need an accurate count.  Participation in Dinner with a Scientist doubled since we began a decade ago.  The event is FREE but we are asking for an optional $10.00 donation to cover the cost of food. If you are able to donate, we would very much appreciate your help.  No child will be excluded from this activity due to the lack of a donation.
