Event Chairs Still Needed for Next Year

Are you new to Valley View and looking for a way to meet other parents and teachers? Interested in learning more about Valley View events? Have you been at Valley View for some time but never had a chance to participate in the events? 

We are looking for parents who roll up their sleeves and are creative, energetic, and passionate about their children's experience at Valley View. I will be serving as the new VP of Activities for the 2015-2016 school year, and I can't do it alone. Each of the Chairs will serve on Valley View's Events Advisory Board. We will meet once a month to keep updated on event status and share best practices.

Take a look at the list below and contact me if you're interested in chairing or co-chairing one of the events below.  

• Fun Run, 10/9/2015: This Chair will work with the VP Fundraising to put on the event.

• Hootenanny, 10/23/2015: This is our annual fall festival. Lots of fun for the whole family. This involves overseeing various committees.

• Bring Parent to Lunch Day, 10/14/15: This involves getting the word out, working with food service; working on sign-in logistics and efficiency. 

• Wednesday BookClub: Will meet once a month, on Wednesdays, from 8am-9am, from November 2015 - May 2016.

• Book Fair, 12/7/2015-12/11/2015: This Chair will work with the VP Fundraising to put on the event.

• Multicultural Fair, 5/20/2016: Co-chair
